hey guys i need help on an install on a 2001 civic. I cant get the alarm to lock unlock the door locks on this vehicle, its a predator 2001 alarm and it has 2 wires that send 300ma positive and negtive signal and it just doesnt seem to work, the power doorlocks are positive trigger on this vehicle. i used the yellow/blk for lock behind the fuse box and yellow/grn for lock and they both send positive signal. and the car only has a keyless entry module in it which i left in thanks.

If you pulse the unlock wire on the vehicle with a full positive - do the doors unlock??

If they do, then you're 300ma output is not enougfh to drive the original unlock wire. You would need to add a relay as follows:-

30 = Connect to poitive 12V
85 = connect to unlock wire from alarm
86 = connect to poitive 12V
87 = connect to unlock wire on vehicle.

If they dont, you have the wrong wire on the vehicle...

Hope this helps

Actually, the power doorlocks on this car should be negative pulse. You have likely found your door lock motor wires. You need to tap into WHITE/ Blue for lock and WHITE/ green for unlock. They will beoth be in a 20 pin connector located in the driver's kick panel. The locks should activate whenever you tap these wires to ground. Hope this helps.
