I have a DEI Sidewinder 6500 ESP. I have manual tranny and will not be using the remote start function of the alarm, does this mean I do not need the relay satellite?
I wonder what else I could use it for....

The alarm gets its ignition recognition from the relay harness. You need to hook up the ign wire only if not using remote start.
