Okay Installed a Code Alarm model CA-535 remote starter with some security features.. The problem is if I lock my doors with Code Alarm keyfob the horn will sound about every 5minutes or sometimes random. Now if I lock the doors with the factory OEM or use the door switch I don't have any problems.. Of course using the factory keyfob or door switch bypasses the Code Alarm module so I understand that.. But why does the horn beep after using the Code Alarm keyfob? Again the horn beeps three quick beeps about every 5-20minutes....

Did you use the proper factory anti-theft bypass? Also check the factory arm/rearm wiring.

Only thing used was the key bypass for the chipped key.

There is a couple wires I believe on that alarm for factory disarm. Mainly you'd use that to disarm the factory alarm so it doesn't go off when you remote start it. I haven't done an alarm on that truck yet, but I'm willing to bet it's a pretty straight forward process. Probably just need a wire on the factory security module. Try and find a Techsoft sheet on it.
