i was wondering can i tap into the trunk pin wire located on the drivers side instead of using my hook pin which i used for the hood.???? thanks in advance

Dome Light RED / WHITE (-) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS **
Trunk Pin Switch RED / WHITE (-) AT LIGHT IN TRUNK

you can try it....test it with a meter

which wire from the alarm would i use? would it be the same as the one for the hood pin?

no there should be another - trigger wire
