I'm killing myself here, tried searching this web site and no luck in what i was looking for (or maybe my wording wasn't right)

I have an avital 6000 autostart, keyless alarm

Have the autostart working just great, alarm as well.. my problem is in the unlocking of the doors by keyless.  It says the truck is Reverse Locking (according to the database on this website)

I triple checked it, and when it goes to unlock the door, it just dim's the lights in the truck, I have tried reversing how i have the two wires that i cut on the unlock side (BLACK/ white) and no luck either way.

By pushing the factory unlock button, it will unlock and works just fine.  If i arm the alarm, it locks without problems.  I used the wiring diagram off this site for the wiring.  I found the harness in the front left speaker (had to dig it out),   there was an assortment of wires, but did put my meter on the wires to find the right two, trusting the site of course, but i like to double check things.  And matching the site's suggested two wires, light blue for lock and BLACK/ white for unlock.  the alarm only has negative pluse without the ablity of changing it, so relay's would be needed (as i have).  The relays do have a constaint 12volts on 86&87 on one relay and 85&87 on the other, now I have tried making it match, or changing from one side ot the other, without change to my problem.  30&87a goes between the factory harness that i cut, placing one wire to each, one to 30 other to 87a. If i change back and forth on those, factory buttons work, but will not lock on arm (expected).

However I try, I can not figure out how to get this thing to unlock, and i mean what fun is it to have keyless when you have to use your key?

Any help would be Appreciated!

Thanks!

Power LockL BLUEBEHIND OR BELOW
Power UnlockBLACK/ WHITEDRIVER SPEAKER

Five Wire
Reversal Rest At Ground Door Locks

Make sure you have the correct Unlock Wire.......BLACVK/WHITE
I have been known to cut the BLACK Wire before.
Also you can access wires at Door Boot and pull wires out, but I like sitting in the seat better (i.e. Under speaker)

i've never even heard of the model 6000 in Avital/AviStart... and i've been a dealers for years....     does it utilize a 3 pin plug for the keyless entry circuit, like the other DEI products do?  if so, use the 451M.....

you have to watch to cause i've had lots of these vehicles where the door lock wires change color between the door boot and up under the dash speaker.....

I did find out that the wire BLACK/ white does change from where at the switch BLACK/ red

it only has the two wire out from the avital, yeah it is a 6000, had it for a couple of years now..

what makes me confused, is it didn't work at first, the unlock that is.. left it and tried again later, works? changed the wires over to see if something was wrong with say the alarm, but worked fine, just still wouldn't unlock.  Just dim the lights on the truck.

Gave up, changed wiring to match aftermarket actuator wiring.  That works Great! lol, I win..
