I need to know what unit to use and how to install an alarm that DEI makes and will alow me to use the stock jetta remote, I dont want 2 remotes on my key ring so I heard the Hornet unit will work, and I can still install all the extra DEI add on's like the new tilt sensor and things like that, PLEASE HELP!

just a little note....sometimes when you add anything electrical to a vw you will sometimes lose your horn honk from your factory system because of the amp draw.

But don't you want more than 30 feet of range?  The factory VW keyfob (switchblade) has one of the worst OEM transmission ranges that I have seen yet (I drive a 2004..... it hasn't gotten much better).  Just playing the devil's advocate here.....
