i installed a hornet 553 this weekend and got it mostly working (still not sure why the remote start doesn't work). Anyway, the locks worked up until this morning, when they all the sudden stopped working. The switchs on my doors work, as does arming the unit from the clicker. The problem is that when i push the lock button the locks just don't close. does that make sense?

did you use a door lock module or tap right in the DRL outputs of the Hornet?

Sounds like there's not enough "ummph" to drive the locks, did u use relays? is ur battery power up to par? check those things...What year/make/model vehicle?

i used the outputs from the hornet brain

i did use relays, the battery should be fine

it's a 98 dodge ram 1500

but the weird thing is that the locks worked fine until this morning, i used them last night and this morning then all the sudden they stopped working. It's like everything is working as it should, just that the relays stopped outputting signal to the door locks
