I am installing a remote start/alarm/keyless entry into a
1988 SAAB 9000... It appears I am at a loss as to what to do with the driver's door as it has only a +\- gnd switch.
Therefore it will not respond to remote.. Will a lock motor from one of the other doors[I have a spare parts carposted_image adapt to the dr door. ??
I have a vampireremote system..
thank you

You need to add actuators for the lock and unlock of this vehicle.

Yep, what Jeff said.

The car actually only has power door locks on three doors, not all four.  When you push the driver's lock up or down, it triggers a switch, which tells the other three doors to do the same.

You'll have to add a power door lock actuator to the driver's door.  Once your actuator moves the lock, the other three will follow as normal.
