I have a proximity sensor hooked up to a siren as an alarm at the moment. However, the sensor sends a negative pulse out, the siren goes off for a second, then it takes a bit for the alarm to sense movement again. Is there any easy way I can make the alarm go off for longer using either a timer, cap, modding the sensor, using another relay, etc. Wiring is no problem, I just need something that works. Thanks!

How about actually buying an alarm? You can use a pulse timer.

I think I'll just build a circuit rather than rip out my wiring and buying something I can build.
