I connected power ground and siren, figuring i would at least be able to arm/ unarm it even though it wouldnt actually do any thing. but it does nothing, the LED just flashes. Another problem I have is that the wiring description on the back of the "brain" does not include some of the wires in the harness, so i dont know where to hook up the shock sensor, thanks in advance for the help, if you need more info just let me know

The am-2 if I am not mistaken is only a keyless entry not an alarm. I use am-2's all the time. It does not have a siren output. It has a negative horn output. You may have an older version that is an alarm but the recent ones are keyless entries only.

ok thanks, i was told it was an alarm, i bought it off of ebay, and it came with sirens. Also it has many other out puts that are not labeled, off of the top of my head, a purple and blue wire, and i think there is a white with blue stripe. also why would it have a valet/program switch if it wasnt an alarm? Thanks
