I have a remote start/alarm going into a diesel tow truck, and the unit does not have an input for a wait to start wire. Is there any other way to delay the unit? the alarm is an Absolute FM8500 two way lcd remte start. I am looking for any ideas that i might be able to alter or turn on their heads to make this work since the guy I work for told the customer "Oh Yeah...No Problem.." So as usual, I am stuck with the task of making it work. Thanks guys. And gals.

UUGH! I knew one of you guys were going to ask that. I dont have the truck on hand yet, it will be here some time next week, but I believe that is between an 02-04 yr model, and I wanna say that it is a Kenworth, but that is just an educated guess(I have had to ride in it a few times...If you get my drift). I guess I am just trying to pull out some options for the alarm, so that I dont end up with it in the bay for too long. Seeing as how this guy is a pretty good friend of mine also, I need to make sure that it doesnt have any Issues or I'll never hear the end of it. And we all know how hard it is to make off brand crap work like the good stuff now dont we? Thanks draasch, when I find out more on the truck, I'll let you know.

Cool, I appreciate the help. I do know that it isn't of the air starter variety, but I have to get it in hand before I assume too much. I do know that it is a sweet ride for a tow truck. It is one of the roll back flat bed kind, and he can park at a 90 degree angle from the car and rotate the bed around, pull the car on, and spin it back straight and go. It is a thing of beauty for repo work. As soon as I know more I will drop you a line and we can go from there. Thanks again.
