Also I am unable to locate the wire for the tach and the door lock wire. The door lock switch only has 2 wires out of it. If anyone can please help I will greatly appreciate it. Thanx in advance

I have an Mazda Protege 5.  I too have the same problem and I am running a DEI Viper 550 ESP.  I understand that I have a (1) wire system, but PLEASE tell me explicitly WHAT I need to do and which wires to work with and location.  I have the wiring charts, built a relay, added a 1.5KOHM resistor, but still BLAH.  PLEASE HELP!

Thanks.
