First of all, I have a Viper alarm, and I lost the remote along time ago, I go to best buy to get a new one and they say they dont carry it anymore and have no way of getting me a new remote, So now im stuck with trying to find the remote on my own, I have no clue what model number it is only that it's a viper alarm...any suggestions on where I can find the alarm model number on the truck? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thx
Joe.

If you have no clue then you are screwed. Find the alarm's brain and it should give you the model number, usually on the top in the middle.

find the main brain unit under the dash, the model # info will be on it.... also, look for a date code as sometimes the transmitters changed during production.....

NOTE:

If U can't find a Model # or Manufacturer on Units.............There should be a

FCC # and U can go to FCC web site and search for Manufacturer / Importer
