i have 91 honda crx with a honet 553t alarm with remote start. My probem is the alarm light is on but when i press the remote nothing happens. help me

which light? LED on the dash or the remote?

-if the LED and it stay lit, then youre in valet mode.
-to get out of valet mode, make sure the ignition sense is plug to ur ignition wire, turn key to on and off and then press valet button to toggle through valet.

if ur unit doesnt respond, check these:
-power wire
-antenna, if its removable
-remote is out of synch, need to reprogram (check the link on my signature)

2 BLACK/ white from alarm neutral safety
