First time poster here and I could use some help! :)

Bought a Jeep Wrangler a couple weeks back and it had this Genesis by Delta car alarm installed.

1)It used to chirp around 15-20 seconds after it was armed I guess letting you know it has been activated. It has stopped doing this for about a week.

2) The sensitivity to motion has decreased since day one.

3) The chirping sounds have changed.

4) I've found a disconnected black wire (paired with a purple one) that runs to the back of a little red button that sits next to some sort of diagnostics input?

I've read enough of the forum before I posted to know that the following codes may be needed:

module fcc# J5523518R
fob fc# J5523518T1 (fairlt worn, hope it's correct)

I would like to find a user's manual so I'll know how to operate the thing and know what it's capable of. I can include pics if need be.

Thank you in advance!

Sorry, it looks like their website no longer exists.

This was their site.

Any idea on how to program these? Surely there's a similar alarm out there so I can at least learn from it's manual? :)

Am I asking the wrong questions?

i have one, but i'm not certain it's the same model. however, it's only an install manual....doesn't tell you how to use it. i'm betting that it won't do much more than a typical entry level alarm, so it should have parking light flash, starter disable, door and trunk triggers, domelight supervision, keyless entry, 1 or 2 auxilliary channel outputs, led, and dual stage shock sensor.

what's your email? i'll scan it and email it to you.

btw, shock sensors don't detect motion....they detect vibrations resulting from the car being hit.
