I bought a Autopage RS-750LCD alarm and had it installed in my 1991 Chevy Camaro. The guy that installed in my car said that he wasnt able to activate the remote start feature and that I needed to buy another module to bypass something in the car,and also that I had to go to the dealer to get a spare key to put it in the module. Is this true?Does N E one know how much this bypass module cost? Thanks in advance.

what he is talking about is the vats system you ignition key has a resistor built into it (the little black piece ) there is a 2 wire sleeved loom at the steering column measure the resistance value of your key and add a resistor of the same value between the wires this will let you operate a remote start

1991 Camaro does not have the VATS in it. Only the 1991 Corvette did from Chevy.
