i have installed one of the dei 507t motion tilt sensor in a 2003 subaru legacy.  with a compustar 2wfas.  the problem i am having is the alarm falses but only in the morning. about 2 minutes after it is armed.  it just goes off.  over and over again.  I have tested everything over and over again and only come back to one thing and that is a faulty sensor.  I have the settings on 1 degree medium motion and 10 second delay.  the sensor is installed in the center console and is activated off the negative when armed.  there is nothing else on that wire.  I have tried mounting it in other postions with still the same results.  The customer has left it with me to fix it.  And i have it until i do.   The thing that boggles my mind is it is fine the rest of the day it only falses in the morning......any ideas..... anybody installed many of these sensors.  i have only installed one other of the tilt motion sensors and never had a problem before.....

any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Not familiar with that exact tilt sensor but the Clifford sensor requires more than 1 degree of tilt to trigger. Is your sensor adjustable? I would try a different setting if it is. The cooler temperature in the morning may be causing the sensor to be more sensitive although its hard to say without any direct experience with it.

Try 3 degrees and medium motion . ..
Don't forget that when facing the dipswitches, to flip dipswitch ON it must be in the DOWN position (opposite of a light switch in your home). . . posted_image
So when dipswitch 1 is closer to PCBoard, the position is 1 degree, whereas away from PCBoard is 3 degrees. Same goes for other settings.
