hello everyone! i have a viper 300+ alarm installed on my accord and would like to upgrade it sometime soon. the alarm is about 5 yrs old. my question is: is it possible to swap out the existing brain module and replace it which a newer viper brain? if it can be done using all the existing wire harnesses, which models can i use? im not looking for anything fancy, and i doubt the newer esp ones use the same harness. im just looking to upgrade for more fuctions.

its hard to find an old 300+ model for an exact replacement so i would like to get a list of all the possible viper alarms i would be able to swap it out with. thanks guys

nope... all the newer product uses the XCRS micro relays, not the old fullsize Bosch type relays

most of the wiring harnesses are different as well.....

the only new models you could upgrade to would be the Avital and Valet AM 2 ways, which still use the old harness and relays.....

You have to compare installation instructions. I was able to simply swap my 4 years old Sidewinder 5000ESP for Viper 791XV. Of course to be able to use all features of my new alarm (i.e. remote start) I have to make some new connections.

on viper 300+ you can up grade to 350hv or 650 xv they are the same
