Okay, I'm really at a loss here. I am installing an Avital 4300 Alarm with remote start in a 2004 Yukon Denali XL. I have the 555L and 456G.I have hooked up everything I know to hook up, following all directions, etc. Door locks will not engage at all. Remote start will engage, but will not start the car. I've tried with the key in the ignition and does the same thing. Car starts fine with key, no problems, but remote start will not start the car, only engage the starter and that's it. Tach learned just fine.555L is hooked up. VM shows voltage to all ignition and acc wires, but even with key in the ignition it will not start. The alarm triggers, lights flash, no door locks. 456G is hooked up. I even put the connection at least 6 inches from the OBD like it said too. Nothing. Please help. Any ideas.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU MAY HAVE SOME WIRING ISSUES....i've done these before with no problems... verify you have the 555L hooked correctly and that you have the 456G hooked up correctly... it's always the little things that you overlook... sometimes it's best to have a second set of eyes confirm your connections.....

Make sure you have the data-bus wire connected to the 2 modules and the remote start module has been programmed.  Should just have to start the car with the key to program that.
