I have a couple of questions that I hope the forum members can help me answer.

I am installing a Viper 791 XV on a 2004 Civic EX coupe.  My factory keyless entry supports dome light supervison and I would like my Viper to do the same.

My questions are as follows:

If I set my car up for progressive unlock, will the dome light go on when I disarm the alarm, if I am NOT using the Viper dome supervision output?  I am almost certain it will if I wire the car for standard two door unlock.  If  I wire the car for progressive unlock, I suspect the first (driver door unlock) push of the remote control's disarm button will not activate the dome light, but the second (passenger door unlock) will.

If I must use the Viper's dome supervision output, is there a better place to find the GREEN/ red dome light wire than the back of the car's fuse box?

Thank you for your help,

Bill

you can tag the dome light wire at a two pin gray plug just above the drivers kick panel, i think its WHITE/ green if i remember. this wire does all doors even on the sedan and you dont have to tag three different wires with diodes at the green factory security plug high up on the drivers kick.Hope this helps.

I can double check tomorrow, we have a couple of appointments at the Honda dealer we do work for.

XMC Sam,

Thank you for your reply.  I found the dome supervision wire where you said it would be.  It was in a 12-pin, or so, connector, though.  I think this is because I have an EX.
