I am trying to install an alarm using the diagram from this site but I am having problems. The diagram say that the factory door lock/unlock wires are yellow/blue and yellow/red, but I tested those wires and they both show negative all the time. I am really confused, the wires were right where it said they would be, but they don't seem to change at all when locking or unlocking the doors.

Lock= pin/black
unlock=Green
Located in the drivers kick panel. 20 pin BLUE conn.

I appreciate the fast reply, but those seem to be doing the same thing. The both read negative all the time.

are you checking these wires by turning the key or at the switch? Your drivers key is what activates the locks. You would have to chec the wires by turning the key in the drivers door
