Hello, New to forum, Need ass-istance........

my problem.... I cant seem to fiqure out how to program the remote start correctly...
I have all wiring done correctly for the remote start, so this is a programming problem

When i hit the remote start button on the lcd pad,, nothing happens..
can someone walk me through a easy way to program the remote start?

open any door turn key and off press and hold valet swith in still you 3 beep and press on valet 2 time and hold and you hear 2 beep and press unlock button on remote you will hear 2 beep now you done turn on and off again

Yes thank you,,, Now when i hit the remote start button, it will make some clicks in the viper remote start and the tach will come on,,, but it doesnt start to crank over or anything.... did i program wrong?

Now i can get it to start,, but it shuts off immidiently after it starts....what should i check?

Okay ,,, getting farther and farther on it now,,,, If i have the key in the ignition on acc.... and hit the start button, it starts,, but then the starter grinds out...  i have a green wire comming from the viper alarm that isnt going to anything, and its supposed to goto the Key side ignition wire on my jeep wrangler...... i cant find the color of that wire :(... some one help please

first try to learn the tach again, if it still does it try using another tach source.

what year model?

1997 jeep wrangler... sahara edition

I tried fallowing the persons directions up top to learn the tach and it didnt work

It will start for  1 second then shut off, so i assume its something with the tach and voltage correct???

I found a good tach source,, but now when i start, it runs for 10 seconds,, then shuts off... i read in back of manual try to do a low voltage start??? how do i do that?   what can i do if it only runs for 10 seconds?

ok let try this use tach less

open any door turn key and off press and hold valet swith in still you 3 beep and press on valet 2 time and hold and you hear 2 beep and press unlock button on remote you will hear 2 beep then press 3 time on valet swith and one more and hold it press unlock button one time you hear 2 beep press one more time you hear 3 beep now turn key on and off you done

i hope this work for you at  the mean time check 2 green fuses  on the big wire harness

I have a 2003 Jeep wrangler and it does the same thing. It start and then shuts off. Where is the tach wire because I couldn't find one on mine. couldn't find the coils

i found the take wire.. take off the gauge cluster and its a grey wire,, well atleast for my year it was... very easy to take off the cluster,, and it plugs right into the back of it..
