Subject: Which diodes? 6A

Ive been installing my car alarm and am faced with connecting a single wire to my dual parking lights(side repeaters/indicators). My manual says use two 6A diodes to connect the alarm output to the dual parking lights(two wires).

I bought two p600a diodes, i believe they are 6A, 50V. Would these be safe to use? Or can anyone advise me on the correct diodes to use?

many thanks.

The designation you have provided is not a common North American alpha numeric number I have seen alot.

Common one's are D620, D660, P600M all of them are rated for 6 ampere, their working voltage is 200, 600, 1000 volts.

If it states the 6 amperes @ 50 volts, then you are good to go.
