i currently have an Avital 3300(made by DEI) alarm/remote starter system on a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 club cab, i recently purchased a new truck, 2001 dodge ram 3500 quad cab dually sport, and am wanting to swith the alarm over to the new truck, primary to have the remote start, i am in need of a wireing diagram and any tips anyone has to offer, i am familiar with wireing in the dodge, and am confident enough to do it.  so any info would be appreciated, a diagram would be great. Thanks,

Notes:
*1 Keyless models use positive trigger for lock, and 5-wire for unlock. Can also find wires at the central timer module to the right side of the steering column, lock is ORANGE / green, unlock is pink/green.  *2 To avoid dome delay, use tan for the drivers door and BLACK/ lt. blue for the passenger door.  Both wires are located at the central timer module to the right side of the steering column.  Use both wires and diode isolate each.  *3 Arm is negative trigger thru a 644 ohm resistor. Disarm is negative trigger through a 1.5K (1500) ohm resistor. MUST use relays.  *4 Diesel tach wire is gray/black and diesel wait to start wire is ORANGE / black (-) Both wires are located on the center of the firewall. There are two black plugs, the wires are in the top plug without the white insert. The tach wire can also be found at the ECM on the passenger side firewall in connector C-1, pin 8. If using the org/blk for wait to start causes a shifting or cruise control problem then use a pulse timer relay instead.  *5 This wire requires a high current negative, must use relay.

I installed it today, took about 4 hours.  everything is working except i can't find the door trigger that is yellow as stated above, so it is remaining right now not hooked to anything.  i found the ORANGE / blk wire in the ECM, it reads ~12.5 volts while the light is lit, over all the remote start is working fine, still working on the programiing of the remotes.  Do you know where i can find the yellow door trigger wire?

Thanks,
Alan

I'm not usre if you read the notes in the lower section of the above post but if you want less hassles grab the door tigger wires individually as opposed to the single YELLOW wire. To avoid dome delay, use tan for the drivers door and BLACK/ lt. blue for the passenger door.  Both wires are located at the central timer module to the right side of the steering column.  Use both wires and diode isolate each.
