Subject: What Alarm Do I Have?

I'm farly new to the alarm industry, so bare with me. I bought a 1994 Mustang. When i bought they said, to their knowlege, they didnt think there was an alarm on it. After looking around a bit i found what looks to be an alarm system. They keys are not the orginal, nor do they have a keypad on them. The only info that i have found on any of the hardware were there Model #'s and Serial #'s. I have looked around and cannot find any results...
Model #: PEUP-3CH.-PB.V.3
Serial #: 80582
Made in the U.S.A. 12-1995

Any Idea's????

It would be nice if you could write out what is written on the back of the unit, as there may be some words / phrases that might job my memory.

The key fob sure looks like a OEWM unit, but then again that doesnt mean much.

Open the unit, there will be something in there.

That is not the OEM alarm system. I have never seen a OEM system that has the wiring diagram embossed on the back side of the CPU.

Can you guys find some info on the system?
Model #: PEUP-3CH.-PB.V.3
Serial #: 80582
Made in the U.S.A. 12-1995

The system also has a shock sensor with it. I just need to know how to program keypads to match that system. Other than that i can hook it up. When it says "negative pulse" does that mean the negative wire, or something else. I think i know what i means, but not sure how to explain it.

Im sorry, i dont mean to post spam here, just dont know how to edit posts yet. There is also a LED installed right under my head light switch, that goes to that unit, I assume that it indicates wether the system is active or not.

I think this is a code alarm that is a DEALER add-on.  Code makes ford keyless, and they also sell OEM style alarms for the car lots to install at the dealership.  Usually (9 times out of 10) a certified mechanic installed the alarm, which is pretty scary.  Most the time they love to use the t-taps and stuff things anywhere just to get the car out of the bay.  Go to Code's website (www.codl.com) and see if they can tell you anything.

Good luck, David

Well i reconnected the main power to the unit, and i got the vallet mode to engage and disengage. Is there a way to program the keypads that i have to the system? or engage the alarm w/out a keypad? PS i also sent a message to the code alarm people in hopes they might know who made it, or what to do with it.

OK, my alarm is officaly in crack mode. I got the Vallet mode to work. I then some how armed the system. when i touched the shock sensor, of course it went off. Now i cant seem to get it to shut off. i unpluged the unit, the siren, and everything. When i put it back together, The alarm is still on, but is very quite. The car will still go into vallet mode as normal, just the alarm is going off!! posted_image Grrrr.
Is there a way a programed the lock button on the keypad, but no others?

The unit is made by Alps electric Co. Ltd. It is made in Japan, and is also a OE maker.
