Help!

My son is trying to install a remote starter on a 1999 Buick Century. According to the install instructions the tach wire is

Tach

White (AC)

Power Control Module Front Engine Air Filter

does anyone know exactly where this wire is??

U can use Fuel Injection wire. Use the odd color wire on one of the fuel injectors. If U look at fuel injectors U will see a common color wire for all injectors and a different color wire on all injectors, that is the one U use

Look at the airfilter location. It is in a wire harness in front of it. Double check the wire buy using a volt meter, setting it to AC Volts, and measure. you should see anywhere form 0-5 volts, buy raising the idle of the car via gas pedal, this number will go up. Also FYI, * This Vehicle Is Equipped With GM's VATS Passive Security Theft System. Some vehicles may be equipped with a transponder. The remote start will not work untill this is bypassed.
