I have a clifford matrix 3.5 (rs is think). Its the alarm/remote start with the carbon fiber controller with the little screen on it. Well I installed the alarm a long time ago in my 97 civic but not the remote start. I can't find the installation manual, and I need the remote start wire colors for the alarm so that I can install the remote start, and my work only carries the clifford concept and arrow 5 series alarms, so they don't have the colors. Does anyone have access to them or know where I can find these wire colors?

RED = 12 volt in ORANGE = Accessory PINK = Ignition PINK/WHITE = Ign 2 PURPLE = Crank-starter side Green = Crank-key side ------------- Kevin Gerry

There's 2 harnesses that plug into the remote start relay that came with the alarm. (500M) One has a plug at each end and goes to the alarm brain, while the other has 4 short wires coming out of it. The wires are Blue, Orange, Violet, and Pink. I'm assuming these are the brake wire, neutral safety switch, etc. Does anyone know. They are small wires of course, like 22 gauge. and just to clarify, the thick Red wire is Constant 12V right?

these are for powering extra relays... more often than not you dont use them.... blue is a second status output

OK so I got it in and it didn't work. I press the star key on my remote twice within 3 seconds, as the operation manual states, but I get no response. Then I realized I don't have a hood pin installed yet. This alarm was the first one I ever installed, before I was ever really taught, so it's very ghetto. Does anyone know what color the hood pin wire is on this alarm?

yes you need a tach wire hooked up... and the hood pin wire is grey.... trust me pal... you've got a great product there, why dont you spring the few bucks to have it properly installed so you can really enjoy it.......

I'm fully capable of installing this alarm/remote start myself, as I said earlier I this was the first one that I ever did, and I kinda taught myself and just asked people ?s. Now that I've got 10-15 alarms under my belt, I may not be a pro but I can sure as hell do it and do it well. I just lost the manual. But I'll probably pull the whole thing and redo it, because if I knew then what I know now, it would be much nicer anyways. Thanks for all the help.
