I was given a Phoenix2 car alarm that was installed on my parent's van.  I'm looking over the wires to get an idea of where everything needs to go before I start the project and I ran into something that confuses me.  There is a second 12 volt relay that has a connection to pin 86 that goes to the alarm systems 2 door look lines and the parking lamps.  Pin 87 has a line jumpered to pin 86.  Pin 30 has a gray / YELLOW line that I don't know where it should be connected.  Any ideas?  Also, the alarm has 3 accessory channels, one I want to use to open my trunk and I'd like to be able to have one roll my windows down/up remotely but I don't know if I can buy just any window module.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, but I already have that and it doesn't help answer my questions.

I think that the extra relay might have something to do with the sliding door.  It looks like I can use it to do do dual stage unlock.  How do I tell if my locks are Negative Trigger, Positive Trigger, or Reverse Polarity?  Also, any ideas on the ability to roll my windows up/down remotely?

1989 Ford Mustang with power everything.  I replaced the lock actuators with after market ones.

Well I found out today that my locks are reverse polarity triger.  I started wiring in the alarm and wanted to have the door locks be 2 stage unlock.  Unfortunately the door locks are 2 stage Lock.  I tried using the other wires on the actuator but the doors do not 2 stage unlock.  Any ideas?  Also, I noticed that no matter if the valet switch is on or off the LED indicates that it is on.  What could I have installed wrong to do that?  Thanks.

Wire lock and unlock as normal. Get that working.

Then, run the 2nd unlock wire to where you had the unlock wire running before.

Now, run the unlock wire into the driver's side door switch, and set up another relay the same as before, but directly connecting to the driver's side motor.

I went to Car Toys to pick up a LED for my alarm and I wasked they guy about installing the alarm and he said because of the fact that the locks are reverse polarity triggered I would have to buy an additional 2 relays.  Looking at the installation papers it only shows that I need 1 relay to do the dual stage unlock.  Could the instructions be wrong and that's why my locks are dual stage locking instead of unlocking?  Also, I want to be able to pop the trunk with one of the accessory channels.  Will I need a relay for this?  Thanks.

OK new problem all together.  I think I may have crossed some wires or something because as long as alarm is tied in with the door locks, they will not work at all via the alarm or the door switch.  If I remove the alarm and tie the door locks back in to the factory settings the door switch works.  Is it still possible for me to bypass the built in relay on the alarm and wire the keyless entry to work?  Thanks.
