I'm hooking up a remote start tomarrow. (97 Thunderbird)
Coming off the RS harness I have the following (6) wires:
constant power x2 Ignition 1 Ignition 2 Starter Accessory
I know where to hook the constants, the starter, & ignition 1.
Now ignition 2 and accesory?
Ignition 2 ~~> both large gauge gray&yellow
Accessory ~~> small gauge gray&yellow
or do I need to hook up the black and green to accessory?
I only want the HVAC to function, not the radio or anything else at remote start.

you might not have an option as to the radio, you can if you do alot of stuff,but..
by the way,try un taping the harness, and see if the grey / YELLOWs combine away from the ign, then you only haveto power up one of them,or at least find out if they are on the same fuse, thats good enough to use one,or check out the current consumption,if it is less than 5 amps(try fan on high),use a couple high current diodes..
the new chevy suv's draw nothing!(like 200 ma!!!!!!)
i still use at least 4 a diodes on these, but it takes less time than relays, and unless you use p&b,or boshe relays, they are tottally reliable!! give them a few mins and see if they get hot b4 pinning the install..

The 2 Larger Gauge GRAY / YELLOW Wires Are The Same Circuit And Power The Heat/Ac. The Smaller Gauge GRAY / YELLOW Wire Powers The Airbag And ABS Modules.
