The easiest place to get it is in the trunk at either tailight. It's the white wire. It comes from under the back seat, but so do another dozen or more white wires. Do not try it up in the front of the car as it doesn't exist. The brake switch isn't a switch. It is a position sensor that tells the computer which turns it into data until it hits the back of the car at which time a relay turns it into a 12 volt signal.

You can find it under the seat next to the distrubition panel. The harness on the drivers side going into the trunk is the location. Easy to find. There is no switch up front as it is a variable voltage that senses the pressure you put on the brake pedal. I did one stand alone remote start on one of these and the hardest time I had was dealing with the hair thin wires going to the ignition switch. The pass key 3 bypass worked great. I got the tach signal from behind the instrument cluster.
