CAR: 2001 Honda Civic RS I bought a commando 5005 and had it installed by a professional alarm dealer. I have a small problem with it however. I also bought with it a smart window module which he installed so that all 4 of the windows wind up. However when the drivers window which has an AUTO switch is wound up manually by the switch it comes up all the way and then goes right back down to vetilation, however if the smart window module does it, it goes right up. He thinks it has to do with the resistance in the wire. Can you tell me what to do so that all the windows will wind up fully, when both the alarm does it and by the manual switch. All products bought from asianwolf.com.

I think U still have to go to the Passenger door for the Window to Roll Up correctly when it has Auto Up/Down

I am sorry but i don't understand what u are trying to say. The car is a 4 door car and if i went to the passenger door i would not be able to wind up the drivers window.

So what is it not suppose to be doing ? I'm kind of lost here when you said it vents when it goes all the way up ? Please explain with a little more detail for this old guy ------------- Jeff

I beleive the window module should have been installed in the passenger door to make the windows work correctly.

Ok let me try and explain. If i am in the car driving and i flip the AUTO switch from the drivers side, the window will role all the way up and then role right back down to ventilation. However all the other windows wind up without a problem, but they are not AUTO. I don't want the window rolling down to ventilation when i am in the car driving, if it gets hot in the car when it is locked up and it does that by itself then i don't mind, however other than that when i flip the AUTO i want it going all the way up. However it goes all the way up if i arm the alarm and it signals to the SMART Module to wind up the window. The installtion instructions for the module says that if the cars temp. exceeds a certain amount it will vent however i don't want it venting only when i hit the auto wind up.
