I need to wire in the dome light to a Mannix A/R on my 93 Mustang and followed the + door pin instructions that came with the alarm 86 to (-) dome light output, 85 & 87 to +12v, 87a to door pin switch & 30 to dome light, I did this but the light won't shut off,

Did you wait for the Alarm to time out or turn the ignition switch on to cancel Dome light supervision:
Usually it is about 30 to 60 seconds

Yes, i did both but dome light stays on,

What happens when U disconnect Pin 86?

what i found is i had 87a and 30 reversed diagram in manual showed it that way but the light stayed on, i reversed them and all is good,
