Has anyone used an Omega key bypass kit before?

I am can't seem to get the module to be programed.

I have the 12v connected to a fused direct battery source and the ground is connected to the alarm (-) output. Do I need to reconnect the (-) wire to full time ground while programing the bypass since the (-) output is only there when the remote start is activated.

I am also wraping the leads for the Omega around the key barrel, is this where I should wrap the leads around?
