I'm sure you have been asked before about which alarm system to buy.  I did a seach, but no results.  I don't have to have the most $$, I just want a really good reliable alarm that will also remotely start my vehicle.  I installed commercial alarms, ccd systems, and fire alarm systems for SecutiyLink from Ameritech for over 4 years, so I think I can figure out car alarms.  I just don't know which one to buy.  I have been looking on Etronics, along with other places, for alarm systems.  I was looking at autopage RS-650 along with crime stoppers and prestige alarms.  I'm really getting fustrated with all of this.  I need help.  Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

awesome alarm for the buck. try omegas k-9 series at  $35.00(locally) this alarm is packed with features. the one on my wifes car is about 4 years old and has been in three cars already. even the remotes are originals.or for $58.00(again locally) im using the viper 350hv wich replaced my k-9 5atv after about 6 years of flawless use.

I have crimestopper 900 remote starts on three trucks these things really kick butt for the price, i did have a few remotes die on me but one of them is going on its forth season now and the range is awsome and i think they are only AM but out performed my compustar FM 1 way unit i just got rid of, the only reason i went with compustar is crimestopper does not make manual trans products,
