I am trying to install the clifford 7000 into my 00 solara.  The bacis alaram is wokring Ok (lock/unlock, light, door trigger, etc.), the things that is giving me problems are that when i start my car and the engine is running, I can still arm the alarm while the engine is running.  I can't put it in valet mode.  And just wondering what does the TACH wire do?   Will I need relays for autolock/autounlock, starter kill, window roll up and down, pop trunk?  And how do i program the master remote?  all the good stuff.....  black jax... sooo many more questions... but this is good for now...

Thanks,

You have your ignition wired wrong or connected to the wrong wire in the car  which is why you can arm and not get into valet, tach is for blackjax and rpm door locks, no relay for starter kill however ignition needs to be hooked up correctly for it to function properly, I believe on that vehicle you will need smart windows for windows, you might need a relay for trunk pop, I do not recall on that vehicle.  You need to get into valet mode to program master remote, the procedure is in the user section of the programming grid.
