I am working on a 04 Dodge Ram Quad cab the alarm / starter / remote entry all works except the unlock I placed a 2k res. on the lock the the Violate/Blue wire and a 480 omh res. on the unlock it arms alarm and locks . When you disarm it that works the doors don't unlock no acuators action any suggestions?

Did you set the unit to double pulse unlock? The first pulse disarms the alarm, the second pulse unlocks the doors.

what kind of alarm did you install?

A valent 4500 alarm the default is double pulse unlock

I did change the jumper for the park lights to neg. ion the built in relay.

I have never seen an alarm set to double pulse unlock from the factory. It needs to be a double pulse to unlock the doors.

values are 815 lock and 315 unlock.
