Hi all, New to theforum and not an installer. I have a Polar start remote start and alarm system I removed from my old standard transmission truck and would like to install it in a newer dodge diesel with an automatic transmission. Any insites would be appreciatted. Bill

It would be helpful to know the model year, and actual trim level of the vehicle in question.

just replace it with a unit made for automatics.... why would you want to go thru the incredible hassle of putting it into " ready mode " every time if you didnt have too???
