I had installed a Commando 6000 from asianwolf.com installed on my 96 Tahoe. Everything is good with it other than when I use my remote start and drive it after the remote start the transmission encounters a hard shift. I'm not sure if all remote starters do this or if something may have benn installed wrong. Any iformation will help, so I can tell the people that installed the alarm what maybe the problem so they won't have my truck for days. ------------- CJ ALLDAY

You need to power up the white wire 12 ga. thru the start cycle. It powers the Trans computer. power it just like an ignition

Is that something I can do or should I take it back to the installation place? If i can do it myself can you tell me the steps to take to get it done, because winter is about to come up and I want to use my remote start and be able to just get in my truck and go opposed to having to turn it off and then start it back up with the key. looks like they missed the 2nd ignition wire, which is essential. Don't use your remote starter until it is fixed. Transmission damage can occur.
