Hey guys give me your thoughts about those two alarms. Also can I do remote starting based on temperature on the Viper like the APS996?

Only w/ an extra module. The 791 doesn't have any built-in way to sense temperature. However, such a module is easy enough to build-- it's basically just a thermometer and a relay...

or you could go with the Avital or Valet units which have this feature built in for less money......
