ok i just finish installing a compustar 2W900FM-AS. well not completely finish; i'm still waiting for my 556U to finish. anyway, i hooked everything up and it's working, but before the lights flash i hear probably 3 or 4 fast, small relay clicks before i would hear the normal louder and slower clicks. for example, i lock the car; i would hear several continuous soft clicks followby a normal click for lock. when i set the alarm off, it does that several times then operating normal again (click with a flash). i know this is confusing, but please help if you can. thanks...

The clicking could be the relays activating the parking lights to pulse on-off.

There should only be one click for lock and 2 clicks for unlock. I have installed several of these units and the relays should only be clicking as many times as the lights flash. What vehicle was this installed into ?
