I am trying to make the parking lights flash with my alpine alarm for my 95 sunfire. I did this with a 97 Civic sucessfully before, but I'm having troubles with the sunfire. According to the wiring database I'm looking for a brown wire near the drivers kick panel, however I tried soldering this wire to the parking flash output of my alarm with a 10A Fuse, with no success. Have I got the wrong wire? What gauge wire am I looking for for a parking lamp circuit? There is another brown wire which is larger like 14 gauge, could that be it? The one I soldered to was small likely 20 or 22 gauge. Anyway, if anyone out there is familiar with sunfire's give me a helping hand here.

Thanks for any help!

Hey, I have done a couple cavaliers...exact same car.  IT is a brown wire and it is small but I usually connect to it at the main hairness coming through the firewall.  There are two of them(brown) there so test it with a multimeter, don't sauder it until you know its the right wire.

Well yah it was pretty stupid of me to just connect it without testing, luckily nothing seems to have been affected... I'll have to invest in a multimeter, lol. mo12v, how do you get this detailed information? Black 23 Pin Connector, man you really are the master.  Thanks as usual guys!
