Anyone here know how to enter diesel mode ( if any ) on the 1785 SH models ? Reference to the diesel mode on the installation manual tells me that there is a function that determines wether or not it's gas or diesel. Let me know if you have any ideas. I'm waiting for a response back from Auto Start tech support on this one right now.

programming mode 2
all it does is tell the starter to look at the yellow wire in the small harness.

What function on mode 2 ? I see no where in the Mode 2 section where there is an option to choose between GAS or DIESEL engine?

Function1 Safe Start
Function2 Engine Run Time
Function3 Idle/Turbo Mode
Function4 Engine Type and Cold Weather Mode
Option1 Diesel Mode w/20min run time in Cold weather
Option2 Gas Mode w/4min run time in Cold weather
Option3 Diesel Mode w/9min run time in Cold weather
Function5 Ignition Valet.
