My friend has a 04 Ford Superduty with the keypad on the driver's door to lock and unlock the doors. He bought an Autopage 850LCD and I installed it about a month ago. His girls are still using the keypad to unlock and lock the doors, therefore setting the alarm off. Is there any way I can use this keypad to disarm the Autopage alarm, then arm it again when locked from the keypad? Thanks in advance. ------------- davedyer79

the super duty keyless pad is exactly the same as a keylss entry fab. un less it is an add on alarm to the factory keyless, no you cannot fix it. Also does any alarm have a wire that will shut the alarm down? not to my knowledge, because when i go to steal your car all i would have to do is find that wire correct?

The Code Alarm PowerCode/Ford units have extra wires to interface with the factory options. Basically when installed correctly you can arm and disarm the AFTERMARKET alarm using the factory door keypad, and the factory remote key fob. I don't know if the unit in question has this capability or not.

you know... i did about fifty of those units and i forgot all about that wire. it is in the aux plug is it not? you also have to turn it on in the menu correct?

On the code ford/powercode units, the wires are in the MAIN harness. They are brown (disarm), light green (unlock switch sense), and WHITE/ blue (arm). There is no need to turn them on in programming, you may be thinking of something else.

Hey NowYaKnow, where would I go about getting one of these code ford/powercode units with the wires in it you are referring to. It needs to be a remote start/alarm, preferably with LCD pager. Thanks, David

Code Alarms CA-640 is a two-way R/S, alarm, keyless entry unit which also has these wires. None of the code alarm ford units have two-way, so that option is out. Only problem is the 640 is being discontinued and their new elite series is taking it's place. At this point I can't get either of them, but check with whoever sells Code Alarm in your area they may have something.
