im trying to install an EVS into my 04 RC dak but the instructions say to move the pink/black wire from pin from #5 to #6 that is empty... but its not it has the blue wire for the 4 door set up. If i unplug one or the other the drivers door will not work. Do i use the 4 door install?

I'll post some scans of the instructions i got. I got the mopar EVS II. its what the dealer would install if you went back to them. It says

 " For 2-door Dakota only:

.........  6.   Locate the 18-gauge PINK/BLACK unlock wire found in cavity #5 of the connecter.   7. Insert this wire into pin position #6 of the same connecter which is vacant."

"for 4-door Dakota and Durango only:

6.  locate the 18-gauge D.Blue unlock wire found in cavity #6   7. center splice the EVS D.Blue wire in.    8. Locate the pink and black wire in cavity #5.  9. Center splice pink and black wire in."

I have a 2-door modle but I have the D.Blue wire in cavity #6 that should not be there. should i use the 4-door instructions or do i need new instructions?

The 2004 factory service manual shows no difference in the wiring for the CTM connector "C2"  for a 2 dr versus 4 dr.
