I just had this alarm installed and I looked in the manuals and I cant find the range anywhere. I dont think I am getting the range that I am supposed to get. It kind of makes it pointless to have a pager alarm if it doesnt transmit that far.

If my memory is correct, Clifford states the range as up to 1/4 mile on that unit....that being the best it will ever get, so worse in not perfect situations. Also, when you say your getting bad range, how bad is it?

Like MPG, yours will vary. Placement of the antenna is critical, as well as the batteries terminal voltage.

Other variables which play a huge factor are weather, building structure, RFI, EMI, terrain, etc.
