ok. to start off.. this is for a 1994 honda accord ex coupe. the install is almost complete, except for this one annoyance. i am pretty sure that the door trigger is negative, so i used the green wire instead of the purple on the harness. i tapped it to the BLACK/ white wire on the gray connector to the right of the steering colum. made sure the connection is good. i sit inside my car, arm the alarm, and open the door and nothing happens! the alarm does not detect anything. am i doing something wrong? this is the only kink left.

ok i just read the post about multi zone triggering. does that have anything to do with this? i just arm the alarm once.

My info says BLACK/ white grey connector left of column. Did you test this wire first? do your interior lights come on when you open the door? if not you need to replace your switch.

You didn't answer the other question. Does the dome light come on when the door(s) are open?
