Is there a good place to run wires through the firewall on the 99 chevy tahoe? I am a ford guy but helping a friend on his tahoe, so not so familiar with it.

thanks for your help

look for a firewall plug, there should be at least one on that model

under the dash to the upper left. use a grommet poker, also known as a coat hanger with a point,be gentle when poking it through you DO NOT want to stabb other wires in that rubber grommet. and if you do get frusturated don't just give up and run them through the fender and door jamb, thats just really ugly. i know that i have had guys come to me to get there power cable and underhood wires run, so maybe just take it to your local shop and see if you can get it done for you......the nice guys will do it for nothing because if you know where to poke it through it will only really take about 5 minuites.

I hear you sexified, got to do it right, I have run a fair amount of wiring, I figured I would ask the pros here, for a quick idea of where to look when I start this project tomorrow. Thanks for you help
