First post, Thanks in advance for your time and help.

Just bought 2001 ford F250 super duty,  It has an ultra start model 1500u in it but the key less entry was not wired. I took it to a local install shop and had then add the keyless enty to the ultra start fob. Here is the problem. When I use the ford fob the interior light illuminate for 25sec. Which is what I wan't the ultra start fob to do, but doesn't.  The reason for all this is I would like to run some courtesy lights under the doors, with the one fob, the ultra start. Should I try and run a relay off  the negative door trigger back to ???? main light switch org / lt grn wire?

I found on their website a parking light output.

WHITE Ultra start 15xx

Using another relay you could install this to turn on those lights, and/or the dome lights too.

Didn't see that it had a domelight supervision output on it.
