Hi I have a '90 VW Corrado with a Toad Ai606 alarm fitted, It was on the car when i got it and the only info i have on the alarm is a quick ref card.
The problem is i have just been doing some work on my car (Headlight loom) and had to disconnect the batt, when i put everything back together my alarm has stopped working properly.
Heres whats wrong

1 - Interior light now stays on all the time unless turned off manualy, it should go out when the alarm is set.
2 - The alarm now churps 3 times when setting, should be once but still churps twice when turning off.
3 - The LED should be Green when the alarm is 1st turned off then red when i open the door and turn off with the interior light when i turn the key in the ign.
The alarm turns on (with 3 churps) and stays on and is working in that way.

I think thats all that wrong, it was working perfectly when i started the work but i must have done somthing wrong.
Do i need to reset the alarm with some sort of code!!!!!!!
Can anybody help me.

Hi

sounds like its in some sort off valet mode and may need reseting.
Trip to Toad Dealer maybe.

The alarm is seeing the door open all the time. Maybe a dodgey door switch??

Ive had a auto electrician round and he said its the alarms main controler, so ive bought one off ebay (£40 posted_image)and it came today, everythings been swapped over and is now working perfect.

Problem solved posted_image
