Hey All, A friend and I are installing a remote start/alarm in his 98 Chev Pickup. The diagram for the alarm goes like this: RED / Black = To ON Blue/White = To ACC Trouble is that the wiring diagram we have goes like: Ignition = Pink Ignition2 = White ignition3 = Brown Accessory = Orange We are not sure which wire to wire to which switch position. When we click the key all the way back, we get voltage at brown. When we click to the first position we get voltage to white, and on the third position we get power on everything.

If all U have is those 2 wires from RS The way I see it: Ignition = Pink = RED / Black = To ON Ignition2 = White = SPDT RELAY ignition3 = Brown = Blue/White = To ACC Accessory = Orange = SPDT RELAY ------------- MO

did you get everything working???
will the truck start with the key in the ign.???
if it does and will not with they key out, then you need to bypass the pass system....
let us know..... ------------- Good Luck

I am banking on a problem with the passlock, either the module is defective, not installed properly, or just not installed. Did you use a bypass module?

yeah, got the bypass module installed and now the service engine soon light came on. The truck runs fine and will start with the remote start, just not sure why the light is on.
